THE VISION AND MISSION FOR THE LAKEVILLE AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Lakeville Area Public Schools’ vision is to provide world-class, personalized learning ensuring success for every student. Its mission is a partnership of students, families, staff and community committed to excellence.
Dedicated to personalizing learning, several innovative programs have been implemented across the district to serve the needs of students, including Impact Academy at Orchard Lake Elementary, LinK12-Lakeville, and the Minnesota Center for Advanced Professional Studies( MNCAPS).
At Impact Academy at Orchard Lake Elementary, K-5 students experience a personalized learning environment where all students are taught at their individual levels in the areas of reading, writing and math.
LinK12-Lakeville is a K-12, online, statewide public school for families and students looking for anytime, anywhere learning. With full-time and part-time enrollment options, LinK12-Lakeville provides individualized instruction, flexibility in pace and schedule, responsiveness to learning styles and self-selection of learning environment.
At the Minnesota Center for Advanced Professional Studies( MNCAPS), students in grades 11 and 12 are fully immersed in a professional culture, solving real-world problems while using industry standard tools. They are mentored by employers and receive high school and college credit. The high school program is a partnership between Lakeville Area Public Schools and Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools.
