RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
Huzzah! For more than four decades, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival has showcased the merriment of the 16th century and has become the largest Renaissance Festival in the country.
As guests enter the Festival gates, they are welcomed by roaming street characters with a gracious“ Good day my lord and lady.” They are slowly immersed into the sights, smells and sounds of an authentic 16th century village. With more than 300 street characters roaming the village, it is inevitable to come face-to-face with the town beggar, the common peasant and even the King and Queen.
New to the Renaissance Festival is the Wizards Flight School Zip Line. Fly through the Festival on this thrilling new attraction that features two different and daring sections of zip line.
The Renaissance Festival features 16 stages of live entertainment, 250 artisan vendors, themed weekends, kid-friendly activities, full combat jousting and food fit for a king.
The Renaissance Festival is open weekends and Labor Day mid-August through early October.
