Chamber Overview
Mission Statement: To partner with businesses and the community to promote, support and enhance business prosperity, civic vitality and the quality of life in the Bloomington area.
The Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is committed to addressing the needs and concerns of Bloomington businesses. The Chamber connects the voices of business and creates powerful leadership that strengthens our members and promotes economic development and community involvement in Bloomington and the region.
The Bloomington Chamber is an affiliate of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, which consists of three distinct, but connected entities: Minneapolis Regional Chamber, Bloomington Chamber, and Northeast Minneapolis Chamber. Members can participate in one chamber or all three chambers.

Organizational Advancement Achieve efficiencies and strengthen the organization to ensure all pillars are achievable by streamlining processes, maximizing strategic partnerships, and improving board investment.
Be the Voice Adhere to our mission statement and advocate the principles of the Bloomington Chamber by educating and informing members, fostering relationships with key decisions makers and organizations, and using our standing to influence key decisions impacting business in the community.
Engagement Establish criteria and develop benchmarks to increase member involvement and ensure the membership experience is meaningful, memorable and measurable.
Resource / connector / convenor Empower members to connect with success by operating as the link to people, programs and resources necessary to grow their business. Understand the needs of our membership and work to fulfill them by providing adequate tools and opportunities.
