Huzzah! For more than four decades, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival has showcased the merriment of the 16th century and has become the largest Renaissance Festival in the country.
As guests enter, they’ re welcomed by roaming street characters with a gracious“ Good day my lord and lady.” Then the sights, smells and sounds of an authentic 16th century village come to life all around. With more than 300 characters roaming the village, coming face-to-face with the town beggar, the common peasant and even the King and Queen is inevitable.
The Renaissance Festival features 16 stages of live entertainment, 250 artisan vendors, themed weekends, kid-friendly activities, full combat jousting and food fit for a king( or queen).
The Renaissance Festival is Open Weekends August 18 – September 30. Plus Labor Day, September 3 & Festival Friday, September 28, 9am to 7pm • Rain or Shine!
