Classical Painting in Oil
Begin by learning how to paint in the 7-layer method. Demonstrations will cover basic oil painting
techniques for beginners, as well as more advanced concepts for intermediate students. Students
will work at their own pace with both individualized and group instruction. Instructor will provide
personalized art instruction tailored to meet your artistic goals. A recommended supply list is
available at the time of registration. Ages 15+

Alla Prima Painting in Oil or Acrylic
Learn alla prima methods that enable you
to complete a painting in one session while
the paint is still wet. This style of painting is
done in a direct, expressive style, with minimal
preparation. This process can be used for still
life, floral, portrait or landscape. It’s a great way
to improve your technique and understanding
of paint manipulation. Students of all levels are
welcome. Ages 18+

This 6-week class focuses on creating a painting in oil using a photo reference. Participants learn the
