Top-notch public safety services
are offered at both the county
and city levels. Utility companies
work closely with residents and
businesses to ensure reliable
energy delivery, including a variety
of efficiency programs. Connexus
Energy even has a solar garden,
allowing members to partake in a
solar panel sharing opportunity.
Speaking of the environment, this
area is known for its expansive
park and trail system. There are
over 85 miles of trail within the
Anoka County park system for
recreation and safe transportation
corridors. Even our garbage
and recycling companies have
innovative ways to keep our
environment as clean as possible.
And in terms of quality living, the
north metro is proud to be home
to many outstanding nonprofit
organizations who work tirelessly
on behalf of their missions. If you
are in need of assistance, please
reference the nonprofit and
charitable organization section of
the Business Directory. Together,
we work hard to ‘build community’
so that this continues to be a great
place to live, work, and play.
