K-12 SCHOOLS HIGHER EDUCATION
There are eight different school districts located
within the borders of Anoka County: Anoka-
Hennepin #11, Centennial #12, Columbia
Heights #13, Elk River #728, Forest Lake #831,
Fridley #14, Spring Lake Park #16, St. Francis #15,
and White Bear Lake #624. The north metro is
also home to several alternative, private, and
charter school options. There are several options for higher education
in this area. Anoka-Ramsey Community
College, Anoka Technical College, Dunwoody
and Rasmussen College all offer a variety of
skills and training. Whether you are seeking
a certificate for a particular trade or a more
formal two-year or four-year degree, our higher
educational institutions are ready to help you
