Founded in the late 1960s, Chanhassen
Dinner Theatres (CDT) is the United States’
largest professional dinner theatre company.
In addition, CDT is Minnesota’s only year-
round musical theatre and the largest tourist
attraction in the neighboring, Carver County.
CDT is a producing theatre, completely
creating and executing all production
elements in the theatres’ own on-site scene,
costume and properties shops by its own
creative design team. With three different
stages and performances ranging from
musicals to comedy troupes, the CDT is a
must for visitors and residents alike.
