This month, we began a new “3rd Decade” in this 3rd new
Millenium. Can you even imagine Apple Valley in 2050 let
alone 2100 (when our youth will be in their 80’s & 90’s)? No
doubt we will be a major inner-ring city with huge high-rises,
underground pathways, interconnected businesses surrounded
by 100% transit, self-driving trains, magnetically connected
autos and more. Even phones will be implanted or on
wearables using holograms for conversations and meetings. Just imagine!
The City and Chamber both started simultaneously. The City turned 50 in
2019 and your Chamber is just months away from our 50th Anniversary.
The City and the Chamber work closely together. The City prenatally sees
businesses up to birth with the Chamber bringing them up through maturity
and assisting in business climate success. It takes both efforts of the City
and Chamber working together to make Apple Valley the northern central
hub of Dakota County.
But that vision, no matter what you imagine, cannot happen without you
contributing.
