Kedarnath’s Abating Pulse
Kedarnath is largely popular due to its historical significance, and more importantly, the Kedarnath Temple. It is elevated at a height of 11,657 feet, and is located relatively near to the Chorabari glacier, the head of the Mandakini River, in the Himalayas. It is flanked by snowcapped peaks and breathtaking glaciers. Thus, it was the most extensively damaged town in Uttarakhand from the floods and landslides.
