sembly. Each piece goes through the inhouse paint booth, giving it the signature black and / or green color, followed by a clear protective coating to give it a nice shine. The components continue to come together in the assembly process which begins as the trailer frame sealant tank, fluid tanks and rear cabinet are installed. As the manufacturing process nears completion, options are added. Some of those include: a plastic engine cover, dual wands, an on-board toolbox and a fire extinguisher. All Cimline’ s M-Series™ options are designed to bolt-on both new machine builds and field units to allow customizable performance. Finally, the M4™ prepares to roll out the door. All decals are installed on the machine and the operating manual is placed in the special document storage container. Every Cimline melter undergoes quality checks throughout production and a full run up prior to shipping. Quality checks include everything from tightening bolts to checking electrical wiring connections and the various gauges to strapping down hoses and anything that could come loose during shipping. This machine was introduced and showcased at the World of Asphalt Show in St. Louis, MO in March 2025. There was a lot of buzz generated by the media and the attendees. After the show, the machine went to a dealership for field testing, to ensure it meets the demands of today’ s asphalt repair contractors who were involved in the original design phase. Field testing involves demonstrating the machine at various dealerships and with end contractors using the machine, ensuring the quality and ease of use. Training materials are also created or updated based on feedback from the demos, the dealerships and the contractors. Many training videos and user manuals are also translated into other languages, ensuring usability by just about anyone tasked with operating an M4™.
Training is another key pillar of the Cimline success in connecting with people and users. Cimline Academy, launched in 2020, continues to provide comprehensive instruction for dealers and end users alike. Sales professionals are trained in customer engagement and live demonstrations, while service technicians receive detailed guidance on evaluation, troubleshooting, repair and operation. Training includes in-person sessions, hands-on practice, and both physical and digital resources to support ongoing education. Cimline takes great pride in all the machines it designs and manufactures. All Cimline crack seal machines, routers, mastic melters, longitudinal joint sealers and emulsion kettles are proudly manufactured and / or assembled in Plymouth, MN.
