COVER STORY
PavementSaver
Continued from page 10
“High altitude at 7,500 feet and steep hills like Lake Tahoe.
Turbo-charged, after cooled, three-wheel drive, spring
brakes, hydraulic brakes, parking brake, high production –
this is what we designed it for,” said Rich.
The initial anchor/brakes problem was real and thanks to
Rich and the RES team, the PavementSaver solved this prob-
lem and set a new level of reliability, safety and performance
in the sealcoat machine market.
Over 15 years later, RES customers say it best:
“We bought our PavementSaver a decade ago. We’ve done
a few updates on it in that time including the spray bar and
the computer spray system. The machine is pretty much bul-
letproof and a very solid working piece of equipment. We got
rid of all other sealcoat machines because the PavementSav-
er is so dependable and versatile we do not
need another machine. Our PavementSav-
er has performed consistently well over
the past decade. We have had virtually
no issues. It has low maintenance as
equipment and this is a very good
thing in this business. Thanks to ev-
erybody at CPM and RES for devel-
oping such a great machine!”
