Chances are , if you are in the asphalt industry and you see me in person anytime from mid-October to the end of March , it will be at an asphalt industry conference , expo or event . That has been my life ’ s course for the last decade or more and to be honest , I love it . Whether I ’ m speaking , have a booth , throwing a party or just there to support my friends and enjoy the show , I ’ ve learned some things to really get the most out of the event . I have been fortunate to observe a few conferences that are just outside our industry over the years as well , and a lot of the tips I ’ m going to be sharing in this article run parallel with those expos and shows . So , I ’ m just going to jump right into some practical tips you can use to really get the most out of the conferences this time
