The Mounted Patrol participated in several events throughout the North Texas area representing the department . This is an ancillary duty assignment for the Team members who participated in several events this

National Night Out – Citywide
Levitt Pavilion / Downtown Arlington Events past year . The unit continues to be a favorite for community engagement with citizens .
The highlight of the year was a combined Mounted Unit presentation of the colors one night at the Wrangler
National Finals Rodeo at Globe Life Field including Arlington PD , Dallas PD and Fort Worth PD Mounted Units . Unfortunately , the pandemic significantly reduced the number of events for the unit in 2020 .
