Police Foundation
The Arlington Police Foundation is dedicated to
keeping the community safe and ensuring officers
have the tools and equipment needed to perform. The
Foundation provides financial assistance to deserving law
enforcement-related community projects.
In 2019, the Foundation assisted with several key
projects that made a positive impact on the community
and department. The Foundation sponsored “Family
Night” at the Arlington Police Academy by providing a
catered dinner and donating copies of the book, “I Love a
Cop.” This was a $4,995 financial investment.
The Foundation sponsored Corporal William Brewer
and his family to Washington to continue his recovery and
treatment after being shot in the line of duty. This was a
$4,500 financial commitment.
In addition, the foundation supplements funding to
host the department’s annual awards ceremony.
