Justice on October 28, 2019. Police Chief Will Johnson was present and on the stage where this historic document that
will examine every aspect of the criminal justice system was issued . Arlington is poised and ready to assist in sharing
crucial information to build a better profession.

discussion centered around how to
communicate crime information in an
understandable format to citizens

Christopher Cook co-presented at
the IACP to a packed audience on
best practices surrounding critical
incidents, release of relevant video
and managing the public narrative.
The department was invited to
a Consent Decree Conference
hosted by Tarleton State University
to discuss national trends and best
practices on providing police services
to communities. Police Chief Will
Johnson was a panelist with Fort Worth
Police Chief Ed Kraus and Dallas Police
Chief Renee Hall.
