abandoned pool
and building that
had been a place
for graffiti and
crime.
FEBRUARY
Police Chaplain
Harold K. Elliott
will always be
remembered for
his compassionate
spirit and service to
the Arlington Police
Department. June
9, 1935 to February
6, 2019.
MARCH
Arlington PD
welcomed K9 Boomer
after extensive training
with Handler Scott
Karaman. Boomer can
be seen on the streets
protecting officers
and the citizens of
Arlington.

MAY
The Honor Guard
attended memorial
services at the city,
state and federal
level during this
month. National
Police Week
highlights officers
who have made the
ultimate sacrifice.
JUNE
The Hometown
Recruiting Class
#5 graduated
with coordinator
and Officer Fred
Kemp at the helm.
This partnership
continues to pay
dividends for
attracting local
students interested
in a career with the
department.
