• DWI Enforcement Officer Stacie Brown participated in a story with WFAA reporter Jim Douglas on the dangers of driving while intoxicated . The story won an Emmy from the 2015 Lone Star Emmy ’ s Awards that recognizes news stories from media organizations .
• Officer Eddie Johnston was shot while assisting Saginaw Police Department as they attempted to serve a felony murder warrant . The department was grateful that Eddie recovered so quickly and was able to return to full duty .
• Officer Haley Thedford pursued an intoxicated driver who ended up ramming her patrol car . She narrowly escaped serious injuries after the collision and returned to work a few weeks later .
