in Oklahoma spent a day with
the department’s Media Office to
learn how to replicate social media
outreach efforts.
October 2015 – The Oklahoma
Highway Patrol sent two troopers
down to observe the department’s
Media Office and learn best
practices in citizen engagement.

Korean
National
Police
Delegation visited the department and viewed a live flight of our small
unmanned aircraft system. Delegates were also able to receive an
overview of APD’s swat operations.
November 2015 – The
Moroccan National Police
Delegation visited Arlington to
learn about U.S. police policies
and how the department
implements community-based
policing initiatives.
December 2015 – The
department hosted the
Naval Post-Graduate
School Center for
Homeland Defense &
Security.
