In 2024, APD secured a total of 12 grant awards. In addition to the grants highlighted above, APD received $ 146,945 for equipment and supplies, including red dot sights. Furthermore, $ 758,703 was allocated for personnel, specifically to fund overtime dedicated to improving traffic safety. Additional grants totaling $ 115,214 supported initiatives such as the acquisition of new digital investigation tools and expanded travel and training opportunities for APD staff.
