This marks the second consecutive year – and the fourth time in the past five years( 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024) – that Arlington has taken top honors. Arlington has placed in the Top 3 nationally every year since 2015.
The success of NNO reflects Arlington’ s strong sense of community and the department’ s commitment to building meaningful partnerships with residents. The positive interactions cultivated during NNO events have a lasting impact, strengthening trust and improving communication between the police department and the community.

The Crime Prevention Unit, which spearheads the department’ s NNO efforts, received the Medal of Merit for their contributions to this achievement. The department was also recognized by city and state leaders for their impressive NNO track record.
