National Night Out( NNO) has
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT become one of the great community traditions in Arlington. Each year, on the first Tuesday of October, city neighborhoods, businesses, and organizations host block parties and other events that bring together neighbors, police officers, and city employees for a night of fun and to promote public safety.
In 2024, more than 175 NNO events took place across all corners of the city. APD employees attended each of them, engaging with community members over food, sports, and even bingo.
Thanks to everyone’ s outstanding efforts, the National Association of Town Watch once again ranked Arlington # 1 in the country for participation in NNO
