FEBRUARY
Officer Gomez on his fourth day out of the academy helped an Arlington resident by changing a flat tire .
APRIL
Wrestlemania 38 was held in Arlington at AT & T Stadium and several community events were hosted and attended by Arlington PD , WWE Superstars , and Dallas Cowboys players .
JUNE
Special Olympics Texas ( SOTX ) hosted its inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run Guardian Games to help support Special Olympics Texas athletes through the funding of SOTX sports competitions and health programs .
MAY
APD launched a new program called " One Congregation , One Precinct ," or " OneCOP " for short . Officers will be paired with participating faith-based organizations to promote public safety and build trust .
