JANUARY
Al Jones , a 25-year veteran of the Baltimore County Police Department , became the City of Arlington ’ s new Chief of Police .
MAY
Academy Class # 59 received their commissioning and graduated from the police academy .
MARCH
Officers from our East District teamed up with local organizations to host a special We Care a Brunch for the homeless .
FEBRUARY
Officers worked at Esports Stadium Arlington , helping with traffic control and sign-in as residents arrived to receive COVID-19 vaccines .
JUNE
AISD and MISD students participated in a week-long PAL summer camp with Arlington Police Officers . They participated in a variety of activities and had a great time !
APRIL
The department launched a 60-day catalytic converter detail to help combat an increase in catalytic converter thefts .
