The unit is comprised of a lieutenant , sergeant , and three communication professionals . The commander of the unit , Lt . Christopher Cook , is a leader in the field of public information and serves as the Vice President of the National Information Officers Association , the Chair of the Major Cities Chiefs Association – Public Information Officers Committee , and Regional Vice Chair for the International Association of Chiefs of Police – PIO Section . Officer Jesse Minton serves as Board Member for North Texas PIO Group . All team members are members of the Texas

In 2020 , Facebook content and videos resulted in 16,701,705 impressions and post clicks coupled with 446,063 reactions .
