Working together means growing together . Attitude is convinced of this ! Look no further than the brand ’ s renewed partnership with Gaël Froget for proof : after revamping the hotel ’ s identity in 2020 , the artist is back to add a touch of creativity to the Zilwa ’ s guest rooms . The Mauritian brand Ennsel has also played a part in this project : their colourful printed fabrics and decorative items pay homage to the tropical good life , bringing a vivid sense of style and a cheerful humour to the interiors . |

Un vent de fraîcheur aux couleurs locales
Collaborer , c ’ est grandir ensemble . Cela , Attitude en est convaincu ! À l ’ image de l ’ association renouvelée avec Gaël Froget : après avoir repensé l ’ identité de l ’ hôtel en 2020 , l ’ artiste est de retour pour apporter une note de créativité aux chambres du Zilwa . La marque mauricienne Ennsel a elle aussi participé au projet : ses pièces et tissus aux imprimés colorés , ode à la douceur de vivre tropicale , apportent aux intérieurs éclat et bonne humeur .
Pour faire durer la magie de vacances au Zilwa , des collections capsules ont par ailleurs été imagées avec la designer Hélène de Senneville et la marque The Kreol Republic : des cartes postales colorées , des magnets emblématiques et des bobs tendance . Proposés à la boutique de l ’ hôtel , ce sont autant de jolis souvenirs à ramener dans ses valises . Tout en valorisant le talent des artistes et artisans locaux , ce patchwork de collaborations étoffe à merveille la personnalité du Zilwa et raconte une nouvelle page de son histoire à l ’ occasion de son dixième anniversaire .

Mais il arrive aussi qu ’ Attitude puise ses inspirations ailleurs . Et quand c ’ est le cas , c ’ est forcément pour échanger de belles idées , des savoirfaire et collaborer dans la joie ! La marque provençale Enamoura s ’ est prêtée à l ’ exercice avec plaisir : sa créatrice Magali Avignon est venue en personne pour créer aux côtés de Sandrine , Julie , Janine et Hélène , de talentueuses potières mauriciennes , une série de sept assiettes décoratives 100 % artisanales . Ornant les murs des chambres , elles reflètent l ’ amour des belles choses et des vacances qui unit Attitude et Enamoura .

To be a true zilwa ( the Creole word for “ islander ”) is quite an art . But at Zilwa Attitude , becoming one with the island is a natural consequence of the friendly atmosphere and local décor , which invite guests to immerse themselves in Mauritian culture in less time than it takes to say “ mo kontan twa ”. This is the state of mind that has informed the hotel ’ s recent renovation and its choice of collaborators who will contribute to this embodiment of authenticity .

To help the magic of a Zilwa holiday last , designer Hélène de Senneville and The Kreol Republic have created capsule collections , including colourful postcards , distinctive magnets and trendy sunhats ; delightful souvenirs to take home in your suitcases , the collections are available from the hotel boutique . Highlighting the talent of local artists and craftspeople , this network of collaborations complements the Zilwa ’ s personality wonderfully , writing a new page in its history to mark the occasion of its tenth anniversary .
The Love of beautiful things ( with a capital L !)
Sometimes , Attitude looks further afield for inspiration . When it does , it ’ s bound to mean the exchange of beautiful ideas , shared expertise , and the joy of collaboration ! The Provençal brand Enamoura was delighted to be part of the redesign : designer Magali Avignon came to the Zilwa in person to work with Sandrine , Julie , Janine and Hélène – four talented Mauritian potters . The resulting series of seven decorative plates , each 100 % handmade , decorating the walls of the guest rooms , reflecting the love of beautiful things - and of holidays - that Attitude and Enamoura share .
