What is Family Homestead ?
Family Homestead is a 501 ( C ) 3 that provides temporary housing for Denver ’ s homeless families . Family Homestead was the first organization in Metro Denver to offer independent housing to homeless families
In 2015 Family Homestead provided 25,642 days of emergency and transitional housing and intensive case management services for 726 individuals in 207 families with 668 children .
Family Homestead does not request or accept Federal or state funding for program operations ; instead their programs are designed by local citizens to meet locally identified needs using local resources .
