The Industry is Growing, and here ' s who ' s who is driving it
We talk a lot about what is driving the growth and development of the multifamily industry- job growth, increase in population, etc. While it ' s good to analyze trends and discuss reasons for growth, it ' s also important to recognize the people who are a part of the growth.
Who ' s Who is a nationally recognized awardwinning tradition at AAMD to showcase the people who continue to develop, manage and oversee the nearly 320,000 units in Denver( and counting!)
The professionals showcased in the 2017 edition are people who have a passion for the
industry. In fact, the average number of years of industry experience of those showcased is 20.4 years! This lengthy amount of dedication and loyalty illustrates what a great industry this is to work in.
One of the questions asked in the survey was, " why apartments?" My answer was because we provide the incredibly important service of home to hundreds of thousands of Colorado families. Others mentioned the people they get to work with, the unpredictablity of each day, and the ever-changing nature of the industry.
As it has been for the past year, AAMD ' s greatest priority in 2017 will be to continue the promotion of our industry as a viable career option for maintenance-minded individuals as well as high school and college graduates. We want to tell them, " why apartments?" and give them good opportunities to understand the uniqueness of the industry.
