I read an article recently about our industry taking lessons from the hotel industry. I have always felt we can learn a lot from the way hotels are doing things, so that concept fascinates me and I hope to see this progression in the future. WHY APARTMENTS? For me, it is the people in this industry. I’ ve crossed the paths of so many wonderful people over the years. SUPER HERO POWER: Super hero style organization. MOST SIGNIFICANT TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT IN THE INDUSTRY: In recent years we have witnessed the ability for residents to pay rent online with a credit card and also the ability for residents to sign their leases electronically. These advancements really made a difference in the way we do business. YOUR FIRST APARTMENT: I shared a 2-bedroom with three other people in Boulder. I can remember arguing with my roommates about food and about friends coming over! STORE IN MALL TO FIND NEW TALENT: Nordstrom would be my first stop because of their reputation for superior customer service. ERA OF LIFE TO RE-LIVE: My late teens and early 20’ s.
