The Elisabetta is a welcome addition to Denver ’ s historic Globeville neighborhood offering 91 units of much-needed affordable housing for individuals and families . Their mission is to serve clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities by offering 12,500 square feet of offices and resource space to the Laradon Hall Society . During the design phase , Shopworks Architecture and the team opted to use glulam beam and column in lieu of concrete podium to support the TI space and large amenity area where large spans of space were needed . This innovation saved time and additional trade on-site during construction as well as offered the opportunity to use a renewable material .
