Group. YOUR “GO TO” INTERVIEW QUESTION? “If I could pay for you to further
your education in our business, what area would you elect for me to
make that investment in you? Financial acumen, HR, Marketing etc?
WHAT CAN DEVELOPERS DO DIFFERENTLY WHEN DESIGNING A PROPERTY? Meet with their
Property Managers to get their feedback on floor plans, amenities,
design. AN AMENITY YOU WISH YOU COULD INVENT? A robotic house maid IF YOU
COULD LIVE IN ANY SITCOM, WHICH ONE WOULD IT BE? Veep BINGE-WATCHED EMBARRASSINGLY

up! Focus on their strengths and let them know how good they are,

INTERVIEW QUESTION? “Tell me about yourself.” I know it is a bit generic, but
I like to get to know the person before discussing business goals and
achievements. WHAT IS THE BEST DECISION YOU MADE IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS?
Enlisted some social media, marketing, & reputation management help.
This has been a big improvement to branding. WHAT CAN DEVELOPERS DO
DIFFERENTLY WHEN DESIGNING A PROPERTY? Think about how the space will
function once stabilized. Designing around move-in / move-out
logistics, access to freight elevators, dedicated truck / food / mail
delivery areas, etc. Functional design can save time, money, and
headache if thought through on the front end. AN AMENITY YOU WISH YOU
COULD INVENT? Landscaping reviver. About 30% of the residents in my
portfolio have dogs and it wreaks absolute havoc on the landscaping. I
want to invent a magic formula that can keep the landscaping alive.
IF YOU COULD LIVE IN ANY SITCOM, WHICH ONE WOULD IT BE? Seinfeld. It’s a show about
nothing, what’s not to like. BINGE-WATCHED EMBARRASSINGLY FAST: Season 1 of
Stranger Things. FIRST GUEST ON YOUR TALK SHOW: Maybe Chris Pratt. Not the
buff, suave Chris Pratt though, the chubby, happy go lucky Chris Pratt
from Parks & Rec. MOVIE TITLE BEST DESCRIBES YOUR WORK LIFE: Rush Hour.
Everything must be done ASAP. HOW DO YOU MOTIVATE PEOPLE? Injecting
some healthy competition into the workplace. Running seasonal games
for most leases signed, number of work orders completed, etc. is a fun
way to boost engagement. FAVORITE TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY? We do quarterly
outings and try to pick a different activity each time. To date, my
favorite has been shuttling up to a winery in Evergreen for an afternoon
away. THREE FAVORITE APPS: Instagram, Robinhood, and Uber. BIGGEST PET
PEEVE? Cars that slow down to look at an incident on the other side of
the highway. CAREER HIGHLIGHT: I have been fortunate to be involved in
many different facets of the CRE industry. From leasing, to
underwriting, to capital investment, I have gotten good exposure to the
industry as a whole. ONE ITEM ON YOUR BUCKET LIST: Own a mountain home in
Grand Lake.
