2018 - 2019 MILESTONES COMMUNITY OUTREACH AAMD Launches New Philanthropic Campaign to Promote Industry Excellence Our industry is unique by nature, as it provides a primary need – housing. Not only that, but apartment commu- nities, owners and management com- panies spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours contributing to the needs of their community in different areas of their cities. In response, AAMD launched the new “Apartments Giving Back” initiative, which is designed to showcase the philanthropic efforts of AAMD community, owner and management mem- bers.  We are compiling information from our membership to understand the impact that our industry has on the greater community.  "Phil" Named for the philanthropic, Phil hangs out at the AAMD Office and will be at future events to remind our membership of the Apartments Giving Back Campaign and encourage them to get involved. With this initiative in it's beginning stages, there are several pieces planned for next year including a standalone website and capabilities of donating to the campaign to give more to charitable organizations through AAMD.
