Lynett Brockman

BY CAROL LEVEY & TERRY FRITZ
Lynett Brockman started in the property management side and was in fact Vice President of JPI’ s Operations before opening Career Options. This gives Lynett a unique perspective when interacting with her clients.
Lynett has served for 17 years on the Apartment Association Leadership. One of her most memorable contributions? When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, NAA found themselves without a home for our national convention. Lynett led Denver’ s host committee team successfully and on very short notice. Lynett not only received a national Paragon Award from NAA for her leadership, but due in part to her leadership in the host committee, Denver now hosts the NAA annual conference regularly.
Lynett sees people’ s talents objectively but doesn’ t believe that any one human is better than another. Her greatest passion is mentoring people to be the best they can be. She believes that“ leaders don’ t create followers, they create more leaders.”
Lynett and her husband Lauren have been married for 17 years. She loves animals, loves to entertain, and is a great friend.
