ASSOCIATION NEWS AAMD Announces New AAMD Hall of Fame, 20 Inducted at June Awards H onoring exceptional leaders in the Denver multifamily industry is easy because there are so many wonderful people associated with AAMD. Last month at June Awards, we took it to a new level, by launching the AAMD Hall of Fame. In three years, AAMD will turn 50 years old, and it is our goal to induct a total of 50 individuals into the Hall of Fame by then. The 20 individuals who were inducted embody some of the best of our past and are still leading AAMD into the future. The amount of time they have collectively contributed to AAMD adds up to nearly 500 years! Congratulations to the first 20 inductees and thank you for your incredible level of loyalty, dedication, professionalism, productivity, humility, and the achievements you have built from the ground up. Features of the seal include two sets of 3 stars each. The first represents the three segments of AAMD Membership: Owners, Communities and Suppliers; while the second set represents the three pillars of AAMD’s Mission: Education, Legislation and Networking. The two branches of leaves represent the equal balance between excellent volunteer leadership and professional staff and how they work so well together. Finally, the crown represents that Membership is, and always will be King at the Apartment Association. The five elements of the crown represent commitment, leadership, loyalty, passion and volunteerism in support of the Membership. www.aamdhq.org JULY 2015 • TRENDS | 17
