Office leasing is not as healthy as the apartment market, not building as much office as in the past and not leasing as much office space due to shared office space. She also reviewed retail sales, which have had positive growth through 2018, Denver is the 4th top metro with highest retail employment growth. RIGHT TO SURVIVE INITIATIVE 300 Mike Zoellner introduced the Right to Survive Initiative 300 that is planned for the May ballot. The initiative will allow the following four things – allow Tom Foster public camping in all pubic space, take away curfews, camping in car for indefinite time, public feedings without permits. He also introduced Mark Brown with the Live Denver Program which is a program to provide housing to public service employees, through a partnership with employers and the city of Denver. Live Denver creates immediate affordable housing options by connecting vacant rental units with working families and individuals. Mark asked for companies to submit units to the Live Denver program, currently there is a wait list of 1200 people.
