In celebration of simplicity
Par moments, rien ne tourne rond. On se fustige de passer trop de temps sur les réseaux sociaux où on louche sur la vie des autres qui paraît si parfaite; on a la flemme de se( re) mettre à faire du sport / de manger plus sain /(* écrire ici l’ obligation du moment *); et on navigue en plein brouillard, entre réunionite aiguë, attentes familiales, vie sociale et aspirations personnelles …
Il est temps de dire stop. Reculez un peu, voulez-vous? Juste deux pas en arrière. Car ce n’ est que comme ça que vous pourrez la trouver. Vous la voyez? Elle se tient juste là, au bord de toute cette agitation …
La simplicité.
Elle rime avec légèreté et dépouille le superflu. Elle possède ce luxe( rare) de n’ avoir rien à prouver. C’ est, je pense, la forme la plus pure de beauté, parce qu’ elle ne prétend pas être ce qu’ elle n’ est pas.
En créant chaque nouvelle édition d’ Aparté, c’ est cette simplicité qui nous anime. On aime l’ idée qu’ entre ces pages, vous trouverez l’ essentiel des questions du moment. Sans chichis. De quoi inspirer votre quotidien, vous faire réfléchir ou même vous faire vous évader le temps d’ une lecture rapide …

Sometimes, nothing seems to go right. We chastise ourselves for spending too much time on social media, gazing enviously at other people’ s seemingly perfect lives; we can’ t find the will to( re) start exercising / eating healthier /(* insert the obligation you’ re currently ignoring here *); and we navigate through an unending fog of meetings-that-could-have-been-anemail, family demands, social activities, and personal aspirations...

Simplicity.
It has a lightness to it that strips away the superfluous. It possesses the( rare!) luxury of having nothing to prove. Simplicity is, I think, the purest form of beauty, because it makes no pretence of being something it is not.
This simplicity is what drives us as we create each new edition of Aparté. We like the idea that these pages distill the essence of the issues of the moment for you to discover.
