C ’ était un véritable défi ! Nous avons eu quelques moments de panique , je l ’ avoue , mais heureusement , nous avons été soutenus par nos collaborateurs . Ils ont joué un rôle crucial dans cette aventure . L ’ impression des œuvres photographiques et digitales a marqué le début des préparatifs , suivie de l ’ encadrement , et tout cela grâce à l ’ expertise de nos partenaires , dont Gaëlle Gonzalez de l ’ atelier d ’ impression Octopus ou encore Kenny Roussety de L ’ île aux cadres . Ils ont non seulement offert des remises aux artistes pour leur permettre d ’ exposer leur œuvre , mais les ont aussi guidés dans leurs choix de papier et de cadres pour valoriser au mieux leur travail .

Quelles ont été les étapes clés de la mise en place au Caudan Arts Centre ?

Une fois les œuvres livrées , le vrai travail a commencé ! Caroline , notre directrice , a pris en charge la curation comme pour l ’ édition 2022 . Deux semaines entières ont été nécessaires pour déballer , organiser , accrocher , et même arroser certaines œuvres vivantes ( oui , oui )… Une sacrée entreprise ! L ’ équipe technique du Caudan Arts Centre et Chloé Mayotte , spécialiste du département Fine Arts , ont été d ’ une grande aide dans l ’ installation .

Qu ’ est-ce qui vous a marquée dans cette seconde édition ?

Nous avons été profondément touchés par la diversité des interprétations proposées par les artistes . L ’ exposition présente une réflexion riche , révélant toute la complexité du sujet .

It was a real challenge ! We had a few moments of panic , I admit , but we were lucky to be well supported by our collaborators . They played a crucial role in this adventure . Our preparations started with the printing of the photographic and digital works , then they had to be framed , and all of this thanks to the expertise of our partners , including Gaëlle Gonzalez from the Octopus print shop and Kenny Roussety from L ’ île aux cadres . They not only offered discounts to the artists to enable them to exhibit their work , but also guided participants in choosing paper and frames that would make the most of their work .

What were the key stages in setting up the exhibition at the Caudan Arts Centre ?

Once the works arrived , the real work began ! Caroline , our director , took charge of the curation , as at the 2022 edition . It took a whole two weeks to unpack , organise , hang and even water some of the living works ( yes , really )... it was quite an undertaking ! The technical team at Caudan Arts Centre and Chloé Mayotte , a specialist from the Fine Arts department , helped enormously with the installation .

What about this second edition made an impact on you ?

We were deeply touched by the diverse interpretations created by the artists . The exhibition presents a rich spectrum of ideas that really reveals the complexity of the theme .
