Advancing SRHR in the Post-2015 Agenda Advancing SRHR in the Post-2015 Agenda APA ANNUAL REPORT 2014 ABOUT APA Looking Ahead to Post-2015 The Asia Pacific Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (APA), also known as the Alliance, aims to ensure that everyone’s right to health is fully achieved through the promotion and inclusion of SRHR in development agendas. Thr ou g h it s variou s act ivit ies , APA aims to achieve the following objectives: Increased and diversified funding for SRHR. Funding and resources for SRHR do not meet the current need in the Asia and the Pacific. Advocacy is critical to ensure funding for SRHR programmes and to encourage donors to prioritize SRHR issues. APA achieves its objectives by advocating on selected SRHR issues in Asia and the Pacific. The primary focus of these advocacy efforts are ‘traditional’ donors and emerging donors in the region, as well as international and regional organizations working on SRHR. In 2014, the key issues that APA members chose to focus their advocacy efforts on were: SRHR and the Post-2015 Development Framework ICP
