Thermodynamics is a tricky topic in itself. On top of a ton of information, it requires an understanding of PV diagrams. PV diagrams may seem tricky at first, but they're not that hard. To help your understanding of them, here's a video dedicated to PV diagrams. Hopefully this video will give you a better understanding of work, gases, and PV diagrams all at once.
