Over the last two years, AORE has worked with committee and conference leadership to develop clear expectations and defined roles. We’ve also improved the volunteer succession planning, not only elevating the capacity of dedicated chairs, but ensuring a good fit for the individual as well as the organization. Each committee has a charter which outlines their responsibilities. In 2019, AORE further worked to separate annual association work from events or initiatives that happen at the conference.
