The University of Maryland Adventure Program received a Rise Above -Isms mini-grant to fund their inaugural Interfaith Exploration Adventure! Nine students participated in the overnight backpacking trip in April to Shenandoah National Park. The trip focused on exploring spiritual diversity and strengthening relationships between students of various spiritual beliefs. In addition to learning the basics of camping and backpacking, students also participated in activities and dialogue focused on spiritual diversity.
2015 David J Webb Program Excellence Award Winner, James Madison University opened a new Adventure Center with a Entreprise climbing wall, rental center, classroom, and trip preparation space. Climbing has doubled since the Adventure Center opened!
