• • • Organized  the  2013  Literary  Awards  to  recognize  graduate  and  undergraduate  writing.     Organized  the  2013  Research  Grant,  which  led  to  one  $250  grant  to  Dr.  Eric  Frauman  and  Fransesca   Shaffer.     Collaborated  with  the  National  Office  to  create  and  edit  surveys  concerning  member  benefits  and   professional  members.       Student Developm ent Com m ittee The  Student  Development  Committee  strives  to  develop  AORE  student  members  into  the  professionals  of   the  future.    The  provide  resume  reviews,  mentor  programs,  student  scholarships  and  fundraising,  the  career   center  at  the  Annual  Conference,  student  pre-­‐conference  sessions,  and  the  annual  student  business   meeting.     2013  Successes:     • Successfully  executed  112  mock  interviews  and  resume  critiques  at  the  2013  annual  conference.   • Awarded  9  full  scholarships  to  5  graduate  students  and  4  undergraduate  students  for  the  2013   annual  conference.     • Facilitated  the  completion  of  32  student  passports  at  the  2013  annual  conference,  which  encouraged   students  to  participate  in  a  variety  of  professional  and  learning  opportunities.     • Facilitated  11  Employer  Presentations,  53  job  postings,  and  8  workshops/presentations.   14
