Tour Dates

There has been some talk of opening for Jay-Z on a small leg of his tour, but I’ve got some irons in the fire (Spitter laughs).

Shoutouts: Tazemade, my homeboy Tyvo and J.J. My nigga “D”, Jacory, Quan, my producer/manager Travis and his wife Dana, Jamarian and his crew. I’m sure I’m missing some people, yo, but you know who you are.

Born on February 23, 2000. Spitter came from a small town called Vicksburg, Mississippi. Grew up listening to Lil’ Wayne and Boosie. "Their rhymes encouraged me to pick the pen up at 13. Rapping for me was a hobby until I finished school in 2018. That’s when I realized that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. People around me have always said that I should take it seriously because they all believed I had a real talent for it. I moved to Houston a few years back because the rap game in Vicksburg wasn’t happening."

Anzzia: 'Describe your sound.'

Spitter: Strong, loud, and passionate. People have said that I sound like “Young Pappy”, but I’d like to think that I’ve developed my own unique sound.

Anzzia: What got you into music?

Spitter: I came up listening to things like “the Carter II” by Lil’ Wayne. Me and my friends used to hang out, and we’d be playin’ and rappin’. My friends were all like, “Whoa shit!! You sound like a real rapper!” That was when I knew that I wanted to leave a mark on the world. Not be an average 9 to 5 nigga, doing everything that society lays out for you before you are born.

Anzzia: Where did you get your name from?

Spitter: When I first began writing lyrics and freestyling with my friends, they all said that I rapped with a lot of energy and passion. Sometimes my mouth gets a little wet. It was a random thing that I said at the end of my first song, I said "spitter" and it stuck.

Anzzia: What is your creative process like?

Spitter: I find a beat that moves me and kind of talks to me. I just know what that beat needs if it practically writes itself. I know that it came from within me, and it feels easy.

Anzzia: Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?

Spitter: Life is full

of anxiety and

worry, but

performing

has always

felt like a

release for

me. No

worries on

stage, it’s just

me and my

element.
