Polo Kids descended upon La Rural Under the Tutorship of the AACCP At “Nuestros Caballos” a Minors’ Polo exhibition took place in which six children’s teams of different age categories participated. The AACCP wishes to congratulate all the participants in the Exhibition: Leon Donoso, Artemio Figueras, Fermín Agote, Roca, Pepe Sola, Beltrán Laulhe, Rama Guyon, Rufino Laulhe, Dante Castagnola, Santiago Martínez, Elina Braun, Olivia Zucchi, Silvestre Heguy, Pacha Uranga, Jose Becco, Antonio Heguy, Alma Uranga and Aurora Figueras. “It was spectacular. It is a very good opportunity to be able to play here, so close to the city. This is a sport, and what is important is that the children should have fun. I wish to thank La Rural for the giving the AACCP the chance to organize this event”, said Delfín Uranga. Luis Miguel Etchevehere, in turn, stated: “The AACCP does a job that is essential so that each year playing polo becomes more accessible to people. And all these traditions of training horses to play are basic in order to continue to spread the growth of the breed”. 258 The AACCP also wishes to thank Fuchi Polo and La Dolfinita Polo Kids and María Chavanne, as well as all the companies that supported the event with prizes for the children: Haras La Valentina, Equidiet, Arandú, Talabarteria Inglesa, Madoc and Pringamoza. “La Rural is a place where as an Association, we should aim to figure a bit more. Because it is a great opportunity to be able to do something in the middle of the city at this time of year. My suggestion for the future is put more emphasis on playing-ponies in this horses’ exhibition”, said Delfín Uranga after the prize-giving. “We were able to observe a very good level of horses at this exhibition. Year after year we notice that the quality and aptitude of the horses increases, and this is good for polo in general, and, of course, for the breed”, said Nicolás Corti Maderna, who was one of the judges selected by the AACCP.
