Steps to Deactivate iMessage











Go to the Messages application provided on the Mac.
Search the Preferences option.
After that, go to the Preferences option.
This option is provided on the Messages menu.
Press on the Account which you wish to disable.
It is provided on the left-hand panel option.
Unselect the checkbox which indicates “Enable this account” option
It will turn off the account on the Mac.
After completing all these steps, it will not let you get messages on the
Mac.
But you can enable it whenever you want.

Steps to Log Out of iCloud in Messages








Go to the Messages on the Mac.
Go to the Preferences option.

Select the account from which you wish to log out.
