The clothing of our Lords and Ladies is always pristine, and a true Dandy is never seen in the same suit/dress twice. The term Dandy possibly came from the taunts of the working class to the gentry, describing what we would term a socialite. To the Dandy, manual labour is for the working classes, and your days are spent in the pursuit of leisure activities suited the a lass or gent. There are no limits to the era one takes their fashion influences from, with Victorian era (1837 - 1901) and Ragtime (1895 – 1918) popularly used as a basic foundation of a Steampunk Dandy.
