We live in a beautiful country with extreme temperature
changes. Just like we change our wardrobe for the weather, we need to change our skin care routine. Here are some
tips to keep your skin glowing all winter long:

1. Like wearing a sweater in the winter, we need to protect our skin by adding a heavier W ehTtob dehsilbuP
ecapS weivretacream y our skin care
regime. If you feel you need more layers, add a hydrating
serum to boost your moisturizer!
2. Don’t forget your lips– keep lip balm with you and apply often.
3. Sunscreen is still important and an SPF of at least 20
should be worn all year round.
sse4. Switch cleansers. Skin is moreH lain cold weather.

Gel cleansers may be great for the hot humid days of summer but can further dry out and irritate winter skin. A
cream cleanser will not deplete the skin’s natural protective barrier.
5. Exfoliate regularly. Your moisturizer will not penetrate
as well over flaky dead skin. Doing this two to three times
per week will keep your skin functioning at its best.
6. Eat natural, unprocessed foods like lean meats, whole
grains, fruits & vegetables to maintain optimum skin
health and promote overall well-being.

7. Drink water–ssiget more dehydrated in the winter it
is extra important to keep hydrated.
8. Get regular facials. Someone who specializes in skin
care will know how to help you ease into each season. As
the climate changes, so do our bodies. Stress, hormones
and the environment have a huge effect on our skin.
