Scott & Valerie Payne from May 2016 through December 2016
Two families in the Missions Mobilization Center (MMC) house:
Peter & Jennie Stillman from October 2015 - January 2016
Bob & Nancy Shirey from March 2016 through December 2016
Seven Literacy Missions workshops were conducted this past year training 75
volunteers: four English as a Second Language workshops and one Adult Reading
& Writing workshop. Statistically, for every one full workshop, where 25
volunteers are trained in how to start and lead an ESL ministry, one participant in
the ministry is saved. These are usually international adults over the age of 18,
one of the most difficult people groups and age range to reach. There are over
45 church and associational literacy missions ministry sites across the state.
We have had several staff changes during the past year. The current Tennessee
WMU staff are:
Vickie Anderson, Executive Director-Treasurer
Denise Bronaugh, Adult Missions and Ministries Specialist
Julie Heath, Preschool & Children Missions Specialist
Kendall Shirey, Student & Literacy Missions Specialist
Vickie Clemons, Administrative Assistant
Emily Traylor, Ministry Assistant
