Jamie Work called the session to order
Attention was directed to last year's minutes in the Book of Reports and the MDT reports
Steven Johnston gave the Baptist Collegiate Ministry report.
1. There are over 9,000 college students in our area
2. BCM's motto is: Help follow Jesus, Build Community, Change the World
3. The BCM has been integral in providing support due to a recent suicide at
Cleveland State. Please pray for the family.
4. The BCM is on the front line of college ministry. The full BCM report can be
found in the annual.
5. The BCM hosts 200 students each week for free lunch and Bible studies.
6. Anna Harvey, from Cleveland State, gave a testimony about her trip to Nicaragua
and work with Family Promise via the BCM.
7. Josh Bounds, from Lee University, gave a testimony about how BCM has been his
family so very far from home and what a comfort they have been. He is originally
from New Mexico and had lived in Washington state previously.
5. Paul Davis, Associate Pastor of Westwood Baptist, introduced new member applicants to
the association
1. Gamble Road Baptist Church
(previously under watch-care, now being voted on for full membership)
2. Gamble Road's Youth Pastor, Daniel, gave a brief testimony

Pastor Tony Crisp gave a short testimony about how his church wanted to
be where God was working – at our association

6. All new member applicants were accepted unanimously.
6. Jena Cavett, Administrative Team Member, gave the 2014 Budget report titled,
“Celebrating God's Provisions”
