Over the course of two days and through video-conferencing technology, 19 of our students presented their research to a live global audience. This symposium connected researchers, academicians and industrialists from around the world for interdisciplinary discussion about scientific issues. Participants had the opportunity to present their studies, explore their potential, exchange inspiring ideas, and establish professional relationships with other universities and industrial sectors. The sixth Clinical School Johor Bahru research week was held as a part of our continued efforts to support research activities in the clinical campus. The event aimed to promote research output and ideas among medical students, and provided a platform for the students to showcase and critically discuss their research projects. Women Unlimited Monash Women Engineers' first event gathered the women engineers at Monash, both students and alumni, for an uplifting evening. Participants heard from guest speaker Kamala Velautham who discussed the challenges women face when working in this male-dominated industry. 12
